It's time to take the leap of faith and begin freelancing full-time.
I know of others who wished they did this much sooner in their lives and don't look back despite the ups and downs and challenges they had to endure. They muscled through the delayed satisfaction of success. There's no guarantee. Thanks to my wife, JoAnn, for "gently" nudging me in this direction knowing it's been my dream for quite a while. She's very supportive and my muse! I'm looking forward to this new adventure and meeting many people who are also artists and customers during this journey. Life seems so much richer that way! Everyone is a masterpiece, a creation by God who is special and important along the paths we take. I won't be only creating art for you, but also getting to know you as a person and I'm hoping I can have a positive affect on you with the work I produce and the friendship we develop! Hope to hear from you soon. Please come back for future posts! I'M OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

Stretching myself a little bit! I received a request for abstract artwork, so I conceived some concepts on my iPad and moved it to canvas. I found it to be a very liberating experience - a lot like when I painted en Plein Air (painting outdoors) which helped me loosen up and paint quicker.
I plan on working on more pieces along this path and continue Greenville scenery and pet portraits. Each painting has been a wonderful journey. Looking forward to many "miles" ahead! Thanks to Mark and Bryan for sharing their time with me at Joe's Place. It was an enjoyable evening with fellow artisans discussing many topics and getting to know each other better. Looking forward to more artful times! Hi to Mike as well. Thanks for visiting my site!
Have an Artful day! I'm going to try out Weebly to see if it is an easier web builder to work with. I'd like to spend more time on art rather than the web site, so I'm hoping I can provide a clean and easily to navigate showcase for you to view as well as complete more artwork.
Hoping you have an artful day! |
